Floating Boom Details

The floating boom has a debris boom design that accommodates a variety of water conditions and containment area considerations. Made of 22 oz. durable PVC fabric, floating boom barriers come in lengths up to 100 feet. Debris boom design includes a tension cable, ballast chain, as well as a variety of marine accessories like anchor kits, buoys, shoreline connectors and more.

Floating boom barriers come in three types for different water conditions.

Floating boom barriers for calm waters will work best with no current and mostly calm water. This containment area should have limited to no wave action at all. For moving water, use a moving water floating boom. This containment location can have currents and some waves and tides. For open water conditions that have faster currents and frequent waves and tides, use a fast water floating boom.
