The UltraTech 8405 Collapsible Spill Berm is designed for fast setup and takedown at any job site. Its compact, foldable structure makes it easy to transport and deploy where containment is needed. Built with chemical-resistant Copolymer-2000 material, this berm features PVC sidewall assemblies that swivel to raise and lower the sides. Vehicles and equipment can move in and out of the berm with minimal effort.
Use the 8405 model to contain tanks, totes, containers, and other stationary equipment indoors or outdoors. When deployed outdoors, adding the Ultra Self Bailer helps manage rainwater by automatically draining clean water while retaining potential contaminants. This spill containment berm supports compliance with EPA 40 CFR 264.175 for container management and SPCC (Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure) regulations.

The UltraTech 8405 Collapsible Spill Berm is a flexible solution for containing spills from a wide range of stationary and mobile equipment. It is commonly used at construction sites, industrial facilities, and maintenance operations where equipment must be stored in compliance with spill prevention regulations. The berm’s foldable design allows for simple setup and takedown. It can be stored compactly when not in use and quickly deployed wherever spill containment is required. Typical applications include:

Installation Steps
To deploy the Collapsible Model Spill Containment Berm:
- 1. Select a level area and be sure that ground is swept clean of debris and sharp objects. The use of a ground tarp is recommended.
- 2. Place the folded Berm at the setup location. Do not drag the folded Berm.
- 3. Unfold Berm and position as desired.
- 4. Position the frame legs facing toward the inside of the Berm.
- 5. If Track Belts are being used, place these in the unit at this time.
- 6. The Collapsible Wall Model Berm is now ready for use.
Use the Collapsible Model Spill Berm for spill containment either indoors or outdoors. When using the spill berm outdoors, you can use the Ultra Self Bailer to remove rainwater from your spill containment berm. Other accessories and additional tools you can use with your spill berm are Track Belts, Ground Cloth, and the Ultra Berm Repair Kit. Track Belts protect the top of the spill berm when vehicles drive over the material. The Ground Cloth will protect the underside of the spill containment berm from any debris or materials that could cause punctures or tears. The Ultra Repair Kit is made up a toolbox, industrial heat gun, and a series of patches to mend tears in the material.

Yes, you can use the Collapsible Wall Model spill containment berm for outdoor spill containment. One of the main issues with outdoor spill containment is rainwater entering the spill containment berm. If you are using this spill berm for short term spill containment outdoors and want to make sure that rainwater is emptied out safely, then we recommend you use the Ultra Self-Bailer with your spill berm. The Ultra Self-Bailer drains rainwater passively from the berm but will shutoff in the event of a spill. For outdoor spill containment that is more permanent and secure, we recommend you see our Hardtop Spill Pallets for 55-gallon drums and IBCs.
The Collapsible Model Spill Berm has rugged sidewalls that must be raised and lowered when vehicles and machinery enter the spill berm. This makes it great for tanks and equipment that is stationary and needing containment for longer periods of time. Track Belts are still a great accessory and tool for this spill containment berm to protect it from the vehicles that do enter it. However, we do not recommend you keep the Track Belts in place once the sidewalls have been raised.
